SEATTLE — It was a dark overnight drive for many after a SUV plowed into a power pole.
About 1,500 customers were without power in West Seattle after a car hit a pole late Wednesday night, officials said.
Power was restored around 3 a.m.
According to Seattle City Light officials, the leaning pole put wires on a tree, which started to catch fire.
Crews are at the scene.
Officials say it will take about 4 to 6 hours for repairs.
This is a developing story and will be updated once more information becomes available.
