SEATTLE — Two military vehicles were involved in two separate rollovers Sunday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The first occurred at 12:40 p.m. on State Route 520 at Northeast 40th Street in Redmond.
State Patrol said due to defective equipment on a National Guard vehicle, the vehicle hit a barrier and rolled over.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Three occupants suffered very minor injuries.
The second rollover happened at 12:53 p.m. on northbound Interstate 5 near Boeing Field.
Troopers told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News a Canadian military vehicle was traveling north when it rolled over.
One occupant inside of the vehicle was hurt and taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
It is unknown at this time what caused the vehicle to roll over.
There were no other vehicles involved.
