2 men shot in Seattle's Central District

SEATTLE — Seattle police are searching for the person who shot two men in Seattle's Central District.

The men were wounded shortly before 7 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way, said Renee Witt with Seattle police.

Witt said one of the men had a gunshot wound to the buttocks, while the other sustained a gunshot to the shoulder area.

Police say there is little to no information about the gunman.

Both men were taken to Harborview Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, according to Witt.

Investigators and the gang unit conducted the investigation at the scene.
