2 hurt in West Seattle house fire

SEATTLE — Two people were injured Tuesday evening in a house fire in West Seattle, fire officials said.

The fire happened before 8 p.m. in the 10000 block of 39th Avenue Southwest.

When crews arrived at the scene, a home was fully involved.

The man had burns and smoke inhalation and the woman was being treated for smoke inhalation. Both are in stable condition.

Fire officials said a man and woman in their 70s were taken to Harborview Medical Center to be treated for their injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
