Tuesday marks 22nd anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death

SEATTLE — Many will pause to remember the life of Kurt Cobain Tuesday.

The Nirvana lead singer killed himself at his home next to Viretta Park in Seattle's Denny-Blaine neighborhood 22 years ago.

Every year, fans leave flowers on a bench dedicated to Cobain.

Last month, Seattle police released pictures of the shotgun investigators say Cobain used in 1994.

Over the years, some conspiracy theorists insisted that Seattle police melted down the weapon to hide evidence of foul play.
