Suspected DUI injury crash closes SR 99 in Lynnwood

LYNNWOOD, Wash. — All lanes of SR 99 in Lynnwood were closed after a crash just south of 148th Street Southwest.

The two-car crash happened at about 2:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Washington State Patrol Trooper H. Axtman said the woman who caused the crash was arrested for investigation of vehicular assault. Axtman said drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.

A passenger in the other car was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The northbound lanes reopened at 5:30 a.m. The southbound lanes reopened shortly before 6 a.m.
