Macy's store where 5 people killed in Burlington reopens

BURLINGTON, Wash. — The Macy's store inside the Cascade Mall where a gunman shot and killed 5 people Friday is now open.

The mall reopened on Monday.

Samantha Gonzalez, of Mount Vernon, wants mall employees to know the community is behind them.

And I want them to know the community still supports them, we’re still going to come, we’re still going to be there for them.”

Gonzalez was one of about 200 people to walk through the mall Wednesday posting signs of encouragement for the store’s employees.
