WEST SEATTLE, Wash. — A small plane crashed in West Seattle off shore near Lincoln Park.
No one was injured, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
Fire and police crews are responding the crash scene off the shore along Beach Drive Southwest.
Witnesses told KIRO-7 they heard the plane's engine stop and then the sound of sirens as first responders rushed to Beach Drive Southwest.
Two men were in the plane, but they made their way to shore.

The FAA and NTSB are investigating. Seattle Police said the plane did not belong to the pilot.
The Cessna 172 is submerged in Puget Sound and the tail number is not showing. The FAA is not releasing the tail number at this point but did say the aircraft suffered substantial damage.

A diver with the Seattle Police Department tied a rope from the plane to the bulkhead to keep it secured as the tide comes in.
A salvage team will need to use a crane to pull it out of the water.
