Famed food and travel host Anthony Bourdain’s show “Parts Unknown” features Seattle in an upcoming episode that’s set to air this Sunday.

His crew posted a synopsis describing the episode:

"To get to that Sweet Kush, Bourdain must first elbow his way past the insufferable Starbucks-swilling 'tech bros,' typically identifiable by their blue badges and soulless eyes. They're building a Whole Foods in the once-gritty gayborhood of Capitol Hill in what amounts to a symbol of incessant gentrification. Here it's called 'facade-omy.' As the yuppies wreak havoc on the city, bleeding it of its long-cherished character, Bourdain must dodge an estimated 75 serial killers in the Washington-state area—addled by the long, dreary winters, locals say.

Videos giving a sneak peak of the episode shows Bourdain visiting Hollingsworth Cannabis Company Farm outside of Seattle. When in the city, he stops at Mamnoon in Capitol Hill.
The Seattle Times reports that he also stops by Pacific Inn Pub in Fremont, Shanghai Room in Greenwood, and Ocho in Ballard."

Watch a video previewing his visit below.

This isn’t Bourdain’s first TV episode in Seattle.  In 2013, he visited Walrus and the Carpenter and Shorty’s in the season 2 finale of The Layover.
