Pedestrian struck by hit-and-run driver in downtown Seattle

SEATTLE — A pedestrian who was in a crosswalk was hit by a driver who then fled the crash scene in the heart of downtown Seattle.

The victim was crossing the street at Third Avenue and Spring Street when they were hit at about 10 a.m. Thursday.  As of 10:19 a.m., Spring was closed between Second and Third.

Police say the victim was conscious at the scene.

The suspect’s vehicle may be a blue sedan.
