A video posted from an Eastern Washington middle school shows a father surprising her daughter while in class.
Air Force Technical Sergeant Bennett showed up at Cheney Middle School on Monday. He was stationed in Qatar for nearly a year.
The daughter jumped up in surprise and hugged him. The classroom erupted in claps.
Cheney Middle School streamed the reuniting live on its Facebook page. People have commented, “welcome home” and “thank you for your service.”
School officials tell KIRO 7 News that he also visited his son's elementary school.
