Car crashes off West Seattle Bridge, driver injured

SEATTLE — A car crashed off a portion of the West Seattle Bridge Saturday afternoon.

The driver suffered “very minor injuries,” Seattle fire officials said.

The driver told KIRO 7 his worst injury was a thorn in his leg from a blackberry bush.

The man was successfully freed from his car, which fell about 20 feet.
