An Air Quality Alert has been issued by the following agencies:
Washington Department of Ecology in Yakima
Colville Confederated Tribes
Washington Counties within the Air Quality Alert Include:
...AIR QUALITY ALERT UNTIL 10AM MONDAY...
Unhealthy air will be common across Chelan and Okanogan counties due
to the large wildfires currently burning. High pressure over the
region will continue with light winds and very little ventilation of
smoke from wildfires in Washington, Idaho, BC, areas to our south.
Winds will increase Friday into Saturday but significant improvement
isn't likely given the close proximity of the fires.
Children, the elderly, and individuals with respiratory illnesses
are most at risk of serious health effects. If you experience
respiratory distress, you should speak with your physician.
