Downed trees bring down power lines, block SR 900 in Renton

RENTON, Wash. — Downed trees knocked down power lines and blocked both directions of SR 900 in Renton.

The highway was blocked near 151st Avenue Southeast in the Coalfield area.  Power was knocked out to about 100 Puget Sound Energy customers. Power has since been restored.

The trees and power lines were cleared and SR 900 reopened at about 6:40 a.m.
