RENTON, Wash. — Three people were hurt in a two-car crash and fire at 5:20 a.m. Monday in the Maplewood neighborhood.
It happened on the Maple Valley Highway at 140th Way. The eastbound lanes were closed but the scene was cleared by 6:25 a.m.
Three people were trapped in a vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters. One of the victims was critically injured. A second person has moderate injuries and a third person has minor injuries.
