Seattle Seahawks' free safety Earl Thomas took to Instagram Monday to address his contract situation ahead of the start of training camp on July 26.

Thomas skipped the teams' mandatory mini camp in June, and posted on social media at the time that he wanted "certainty in regards to the upcoming years of my career," before he takes part in any Seahawks related activities. Click here to read more.

On Monday, Thomas doubled down on his previous comments, writing "Extend .....if you don’t want me let’s make a trade happen I understand it’s a bizz," Thomas posted indicating that he wants a contract extension from the Seahawks and if not, a trade.

Thomas was the second player drafted in the Pete Carroll/John Schneider era when the Seahawks selected him 14th overall in the 2010 NFL Draft out of the University of Texas.

In his eight seasons with the team, Thomas has been named to the Pro Bowl six times and was a first-team All-pro from 2012-2014.
