The Seahawks have completed a trade for Houston Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, according to Albert Breer of the NFL Network.

Clowney was the number one overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft after starring at the University of South Carolina.

The 26-year-old has recorded 29 sacks in 62 regular season games in five years for the Texans.

The Texans placed $15.967 million franchise tender on Clowney earlier in the Summer

The Seahawks first regular season game is at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals at CenturyLink Field.
