SEATTLE — Over 67,000 fans are expected to fill Lumen Field Wednesday as the Seattle Sounders are looking to become the first team in the 28-year history of Major League Soccer to win the Concacaf Champions League Final.
The team goes up against Liga MX’s Pumas UNAM at 7 p.m.
This is the first time the Sounders have advanced to the finals of the CONCACAF Champions League in club history and a win would vault Seattle onto the world stage, where they would compete with teams including Chelsea FC and Real Madrid in the FIFA Club World Cup.
