• Car, Link Light Rail train collide near Beacon Hill

    SEATTLE - A car and a train collided near Beacon Hill in South Seattle on the southbound track.

    The Sound Transit Link Light Rail train was stopped at Martin Luther King Jr. Way South at South Orcas Street at about 8 a.m. Monday.

    No injuries were reported, but southbound service was stopped for about 45 minutes.

    The scene has since cleared and operations have resumed as normal.
