• Wrong-way driver arrested after I-5 crash

    A driver was arrested late Saturday night after a wrong-way crash on Interstate 5, troopers said.

    The collision happened on I-5 at 145th Street just before midnight.

    Troopers said a pickup truck was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes when it struck a Ford Edge.

    One of four people in the Ford Edge was injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center.  

    The driver of the pickup was not injured. Troopers said she was arrested for driving under the influence and was later booked into the King County Jail.

    Authorities will continue to investigate the collision.
