Vet clinic warns dog owners after possibly poisoned meat found at park

SEATTLE — A Seattle veterinarian clinic is warning dog owners to be on the lookout for meat stuffed with rat poison at a popular park.

Seattle Veterinary Associates posted a photo of some meat packed with poison.

The clinic said a dog was treated over the weekend for suspected poisoning.

The dog's owner believes the animal ate the meat while on a walk at Carkeek Park.

A sample of the meat has been sent to a Washington State University lab for testing.
