Carlson had been missing since Sept. 23, and police had asked the public for help finding her, WEAU reported. Her family had also offered a $20,000 reward.

After weeks of searching, Christian Aid Ministries came in to assist rescuers and were the ones to find Carlson’s body Saturday, KARE reported.

While police have been on scene since the body was found, the medical examiner has not yet determined a cause of death, and investigators have not said whether they suspect foul play was involved, NBC News reported.

A Facebook page has been created in Carlson’s memory.
