Innoveix Pharmaceuticals has issued a recall of two of its medications because they may not be sterile, the Food and Drug Administration announced.
The drugs included in the recall are:
|Sermorelin/Ipanorelin 3mg||Lot# SIP210; Exp: 12/15/2021|
Lot# SIP215; Exp: 01/14/2022

The medications are injectable and can be used to treat various illnesses and conditions.
They were dispensed in glass vials in a small, white box across the country, either directly to patients or through medical facilities.
If the medication is not sterile, it could cause a serious and potentially life-threatening infection, according to the FDA.
If you have the recalled medication, you’re instructed to return it to a pharmacy for a full refund, the FDA said.
Consumers with questions about the recall can email the company, or call Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.. to 4:30 p.m. CST at 1-800-370-1910.
