WAYNESBORO, Pa. — A 13-year-old Pennsylvania boy is facing criminal homicide and aggravated assault charges after investigators said he shot and killed his 9-year-old brother.
According to WGAL-TV and the Patriot-News, the fatal shooting occurred about 7:15 a.m. Wednesday at a Waynesboro home. Pennsylvania State Police said the teen intentionally shot the younger boy in the head with a 9 mm handgun, WGAL reported. The 9-year-old later died at a nearby hospital, authorities said.
State police arrested the older boy, who is being charged as an adult, according to WGAL. Officials have not publicly released either boy's name.
