Disney cancels more cruises due to COVID-19, see where other companies’ sailings stand

Disney Cruise Line has announced more sailing cancellations because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The company announced Wednesday that all departures through May 2021 have been canceled.

The cancelations will be longer for the Disney Magic, which will not resume trips before Aug. 2021, with the closures of European ports continuing through an extended period.

Passengers who have paid for their trip in full can either get a credit for a future sailing or a full refund. If an affected cruise hadn’t been fully paid off, then the passengers will get a refund of what had been paid.

Here is the latest information for other cruise lines.

Carnival Corporation

Carnival Corporation operates nine cruise line brands: Aida, Carnival, Costa, Cunard, Holland America Line, P&O Australia Cruises, P&O Cruises, Princess and Seabourn.

Aida has officially suspended cruises through mid-March, expecting to sail to the Canary Islands on March 20 with the AIDAperla. For the latest, click here.

Costa cruises are scheduled to resume in May. You can check the sailings here.

Cunard has canceled sailings through mid-2021 and has stopped selling cruises that are longer than eight days and departing through No. 1. For the latest, click here.

Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean has suspended all cruises through the end of April. The company planned to start cruises again in May, except for Quantum of the Seas which is set to resume in mid-October. For the latest, click here.
