Organizers scaled back the event, which usually features marching bands and throngs of onlookers, to comply with social-distancing measures, WMTW reported.

Cobb, a Bronze Star recipient who served in Iraq, carried the flag to Monument Square, where he laid a wreath as about 30 people looked on, the news outlets reported.
Even in a pandemic, "we can’t forget about our veterans," says Army 1st Sgt. Richard Cobb. A heartfelt tribute.
