Arizona police give snowy surprise to 2-year-old girl missing half of her heart

GILBERT, Ariz. — Members of an Arizona police department showed lots of heart to a 2-year-old who is battling heart problems.

The Casa Grande Police Department on Friday morning dumped five tons of snow in the Gilbert driveway where Quinn Walker lives, KNXV reported.

Quinn, who is missing the left side of her heart and is scheduled for her third open-heart surgery in April, was unable to travel north for the family’s annual frolic in the snow because of her condition, the television station reported.

So, the police department brought the snow to Quinn.

"She’s had a chance to throw some snowballs and her brothers -- do all that stuff here in Gilbert,” Adam Walker, Quinn’s father, told KNXV. Adam Walker is a firefighter for the Casa Grande Fire Department, the television station reported.

The Casa Grande Fire Department documented the event on its Facebook page.
