Five others -- all children between the ages of 12 and 14 -- were seriously injured, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, a 2013 Hyundai Genesis containing eight people was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed in Boca Raton at about 12:35 a.m. EDT, WPTV reported.

The Genesis spun out of control, hit a concrete light pole and began rolling, deputies said. The vehicle then entered the westbound lane of the road and landed upside down on a 2014 Mercedes C250, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

All six passengers in the back of the Genesis were ejected from the car on impact. The driver, Ramiro Gomez, 18, and a pair of 13-year-olds, Brielle Snowden and Sebastian Rivas, were pronounced dead at the scene, the newspaper reported.

The other five passengers in the Genesis were injured and taken to area hospitals, WPTV reported.

The 58-year-old driver of the Mercedes and his 55-year-old passenger were taken to an area hospital, where they were pronounced dead, the Sun-Sentinel reported. Their names have not been released by the sheriff’s office.

Alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
