KINLOCH, Pa. — Three people were shot Saturday evening after an argument at a baby shower in western Pennsylvania, authorities said.
The argument was over transporting gifts, Lower Burrell Police Chief John Marhefka said during a news conference.
Isiah J. Hampton, 25, of Arnold, identified as the father of the expected child, is accused of shooting the victims with a 9 mm handgun at the Kinloch Fire Hall in Lower Burrell, WPXI reported. There were about 25 to 30 people at the baby shower, according to the television station.

Hampton was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of recklessly endangering another person, WPXI reported.
Marhefka said the victims were a 23-year-old man, a 19-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy. The man was shot in his torso, the woman was shot in the leg and the boy was shot in the buttocks, according to a criminal complaint.
All three victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, Marhefka said.
Hampton’s next hearing is Sept. 28, according to WPXI.
