PHOENIX — Three men were wounded Wednesday during a shooting that occurred during an OfferUp exchange, authorities said.
OfferUp is an online marketplace app used by private sellers.
Phoenix police responded to a call of a shooting at around 9:30 p.m., KNXV reported. At the scene, officers found one man with a gunshot wound, the television station reported. The man had met with two other men for to complete an OfferUp deal, KTVK reported.
Police said that during the transaction, the victim and one of the other men armed themselves with weapons and exchanged gunfire, the television station reported.
All three men were shot and suffered non-life-threatening injuries, KNXV reported. Two men fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle but were located at an area hospital, the television station reported.
The names of the three men involved in the transaction have not been released by police, according to KTVK. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
