After spending Saturday tied for second, Woods won his first major in 11 years.

The Associated Press reported reported Woods birdied the 15th and 16th holes, taking the two-shot advantage over Dustin Johnson, Xander Schauffele and Brooks Koepka. The 43-year-old won by one stroke over the others, ESPN reported.

Its his 15th major overall and comes after years of scandal and injuries. He's undergone three back surgeries and had personal issues, including a DUI in 2017 in which "an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications" led to his arrest.

The win marked the first time Woods came back on the final day to win a major championship.
