The birth certificate of Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, son of Britain’s Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, was made public Friday after being obtained by British news agency, Press Association.

It shows Archie was born May 6 at Portland Hospital in London. The private, highly regarded hospital is favored by wealthy patients, CNN reported.

Harry and Meghan declined to specify where Archie was born when he made his debut to the press on May 8 at Windsor Castle. This caused rumors to fly, including that Meghan may have delivered the royal baby in a home birth at Frogmore Cottage, The Washington Post reported.

But the location wasn’t to remain secret for long, as birth certificates in the United Kingdom, like in the United States, are public record.

Meghan isn't the first member of the royal family to deliver a baby at Portland Hospital. Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, delivered Harry's cousins, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, at the hospital, USA Today reported.
