• Teen driver in Seabeck crash that killed 3 pleads guilty

BREMERTON, Wash. - A teenage driver involved in a crash that killed three teens in his car pleaded guilty to three counts of vehicular homicide.

The Kitsap Sun reports that Marcus McKay made the plea Thursday in Kitsap County juvenile court.

Prosecutors decided against charging the 17-year-old as an adult in the Jan. 11 crash in Seabeck.

Three of McKay’s classmates from Olympic High School in Bremerton died.

Investigators said McKay admitted to smoking marijuana an hour before the crash.

He will be sentenced next month.
