Two men wounded in south Seattle shooting

SEATTLE — Two men were wounded at an apparent shooting in the parking lot of a library in south Seattle on Wednesday night, according to Seattle police.

Around 11:30 p.m., Seattle police responded to a call of reported gunfire in a parking lot of the New Holly library in the 7000 block of 32nd Avenue South.

Detectives collecting evidence at the scene indicated over 30 shots were fired.

A short time later, two men arrived at Harborview Medical Center with gunshot wounds: a 23-year-old man who had a gunshot wound to his hand and a 24-year-old man with life-threatening injuries.
