Tacoma police arrest suspect in May 19 homicide investigation

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a man who was found inside a Tacoma home on May 19.

At around 10:13 p.m. on May 19, Tacoma police received a call from a home in the 1300 block of East Fairbanks reporting that someone had been shot.

Responding officers found an unresponsive 46-year-old man inside the home.

Tacoma firefighters declared the man dead at the scene.

At around 10:30 p.m. on May 23, Tacoma police arrested a suspect at an apartment in Tacoma.

The 37-year-old man was booked into jail for second-degree murder.
