TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police are investigating after a couple's dog was fatally shot over the weekend.
Investigators said the shooting happened near Grandview and East Morton when the homeowners weren't home Saturday night.
Police told KIRO 7 that neighbors called 911 to report it.
Aron Garcia and Paola Aguilar had returned home from dinner when they found their 2-year-old dog Farru on the ground.
Surveillance cameras captured a person walking to their backyard and shooting Farru.
Police are now looking for that person.
