Police investigate woman's suspicious death in Shelton

SHELTON, Wash. — A woman's body was found inside a Shelton apartment Tuesday afternoon.

An apartment manager called police to do a welfare check on the 57-year-old woman who had not been seen or heard from recently. They say she appeared to have been deceased for an extended period of time.

Police are still investigating the woman's death, which they are calling suspicious. Police are attempting to notify the woman's family.
