Police are investigating after a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run on Friday night in Puyallup.
The incident happened at North Meridian Avenue and the State Route 167 on- and off ramps.
Police said someone was crossing the street illegally when a dark-colored Ford SUV hit the pedestrian and took off.
The pedestrian was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators are still searching for the driver.
Polcie said the the SUV that hit the pedestrian is missing a mirror and was last seen taking off on SR 167.
