ELMA, Wash. — A 37-year-old Elma man was arrested Wednesday and was booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail on investigation of possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Officers with the Elma Police Department said they were alerted from the Internet Crimes against Children, which had intercepted images the man obtained through “a well-known source of child pornography.”
Police said the man was identified through his email and IP address.
Officers and a detective with the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office served a warrant at the man’s house, located just northwest of Gladys Smith Park, around 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said they collected and secured evidence from the scene and took the man into custody.
