Credit card skimmers found at Lakewood gas stations

Lakewood police are warning people about credit card skimmers found at two gas stations.

The skimmers look similar to ones in the above picture provided by the News Tribune.

The devices were found at an Arco gas station on South Tacoma Way and at an unidentified station.

Both were found in the last 15 days.

Customers complained about transactions taking too long, which led owners to call technicians, who discovered the devices.

At both stations, the pumps were out of the store’s sight and video security systems.
