Sheriff's Office investigates suspicious death near Lake Desire

KING COUNTY, Wash. — A man was shot to death Monday in King County and King County Sheriff’s detectives have asked the public for more information.

About 10:40 p.m., police responded to the report of a 27 year old man not breathing in a house in the 17800 block of Lake Desire Dr. The man, Ryan Prince, died of gunshot wounds. Investigators said the residents are owners and operators of The Solution, a medical marijuana business.

“Detectives believe Prince may have interrupted a burglary involving multiple suspects and died after being shot by the intruders,” Sgt. Cindi West said in a statement.

Detectives have asked anyone with information to call the 206-296-3311 or Crime Stoppers at (800)-222-TIPS (8477). West said callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
