• Police: Missing Lakewood woman found safe, admitted to staging her disappearance

LAKEWOOD, Wash. - The Lakewood woman who vanished Tuesday from the Lakewood Farmer’s Market has been found safe Thursday on a flight coming back into Seattle.

Moua Vang admitted to police she staged her disappearance to look like abduction so she could leave her family.

Once she got to her destination, she decided to come home.

Homeland Security flagged that she was on the plane and called local police.

Vang's been committed to a mental health facility after making suicidal comments.
