SEATTLE — One person was trapped for a short while -- after a car crash in Columbia City.
The crash occurred in the early afternoon on Friday.
Delays along Route 7 occurred as a result -- due to blockage in both directions on Rainier Avenue South near South Edmunds Street.
According to transportation officials, the collision continued to block northbound and southbound traffic, at around 1:45 p.m.
MLK Jr Way South was being advised as a good alternate route.
