Victim chases suspected car thieves in Snohomish County; suspects rams and flips victim’s car

After a victim of a car theft in Snohomish County chased the suspected car thieves, the thieves rammed the victim’s car, causing it to flip over, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

At about 8 p.m. on June 19, deputies responded to a report of a car theft in progress in the 11000 block of 99th Avenue Northeast.

According to the sheriff’s department, suspects arrived in a truck and stole a man’s car.

The man chased the suspects in another car into Marysville, where the suspects rammed the man’s car, causing it to flip over.

Deputies said the man was seriously injured and transported to a hospital.

The suspects fled the scene of the incident; however, deputies later located them, and they were taken into custody.

Law enforcement noted the public should always call 911 and allow them to respond and investigate crimes.
