STANWOOD, Wash. — A man who tried to rob a QFC is in custody, the Stanwood Police Department said.
The robbery attempt happened about 4 p.m. Monday, when the suspect assaulted a cashier and then fled the scene, law enforcement officials said.
The man was tracked down by an assisting agency’s K-9 officer.
He was found hiding in the restroom of the Stanwood Library, police said.
