SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. — Two suspects were arrested in Skagit County after a man was able to see them in action live via surveillance cameras.

A man called police Monday about a burglary on Hoehn Road.  He said he was watching people on surveillance cameras breaking into storage containers on his family property.

When Skagit County deputies arrived at the location and met the caller, the suspects were gone.

But surveillance video showed a license plate of the burglars’ truck and provided officers with a good look at the suspects.

Using the license plate, deputies found the registered owner of the truck and went to their home, where they found some of the stolen items, according to the Sheriff's Office.

As they were leaving, the suspects’ truck pulled up and was stopped by deputies.

Police said the rest of the stolen items were found and both men went to jail.
