2 rescued from water near Marysville beach

MARYSVILLE, Wash. — Two people were rescued from the waters near Tulare Beach in Marysville after the boat they were in capsized just after 8 a.m. Wednesday, the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office said.

Officials said the people were just 500 feet from shore when the boat overturned and a person on a nearby boat came to their rescue.

The Sheriff’s Office did not report any injuries or say if the people were taken to a hospital to be checked out as a precaution.
