4 dead, 2 critical in Auburn crash

AUBURN, Wash. — Police confirm four people have died and two are in critical condition after a single-car crash on Auburn Way South early Saturday morning.

Firefighters said a car collided with a pole and multiple people were ejected from the car in the 3700 block of Auburn Way South. Police said speed and alcohol may be a factor in the crash.

The man driving the car survived the accident and has been transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition.

Police said the road will be completely shut down for several hours.
