SEATTLE — Washington State Patrol reopened I-5 Sunday evening after a third night of protests in Seattle over the death of George Floyd.
I-5 was shut down for several hours and both directions reopened at about 9 p.m.
#TrafficAlert. @wastatepatrol is shutting down I-5 through downtown Seattle due to protesting to insure the safety of all. Also deploying resources to assist @BvuePD with protests in their city. More info to come.

Northbound I-5 traffic was being diverted to eastbound I-90. Southbound I-5 traffic was diverted to eastbound SR 520.
All I-405 exits to downtown Bellevue reopened after 10 p.m.
