The exotic compost comes from the waste of such animals as hippos, giraffes, mountain goats, tapirs and rhinos mixed with bedding materials such as straw and wood chips from around the grounds of the zoo.

The zoo says it’s great for growing vegetables and annuals.

You can enter a lottery to purchase the compost on the zoo’s website during its Fecal Fest from  June 14 through  July 9.

Zoo Doo pickup is July 24 and 25.

The compost can be bought in 10, 20, 32, 55 or 100-gallon sizes or by the truckload with different prices for beds sized 6x3, 6x4 or 8x4.

Prices can be found on the zoo’s website.
